Get amongst the wildlife at the Bronx Zoo, the largest urban wildlife preserve in the US spanning 265-acres. The zoo provides residence to more than 5,000 animals including lions, zebras and giraffes and you can even take a safari through the “Congo” or venture the “Ethiopian highlands” while you’re there. Venture to Harlem, where you check out the Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater or smooth jazz and tasty soul food at the Lenox Lounge.
